PhotoSculpt Art in Photoshop CS5 Extended

Here is a quick view of our PhotoSculpt 3D models in PhotoShop CS5 Extended.

Note for Photoshop users that don't know our software yet: PhotoSculpt Textures makes 3D models and 3D textures from 2 photos of the same subject using photogrammetry algorithms. It's new, fast, easy to use and produces high resolution outputs with any camera without any calibration needed. Try our 30-day trial (license from Eur 99.00) or browse our picture galleries for more?

Photoshop can use our models in 3 possible ways:

  • As textured obj file using Menu/3D/New Layer from 3D file
  • As a grayscale displacement map using Menu/3D/New Mesh from Grayscale/Plane
  • As seamless tileable texture on an existing model (untested)

Displaying our models in Photoshop is quite straightforward. Nevertheless we'll do a Tutorial later on our web site to get the best out of this really interesting PhotoShop / Photosculpt creative combination. (You can also browse tutorials now)

This 3D model was created automatically from 2 photos with our software Photosculpt Textures and displayed in 3D in Photoshop CS5 Extended.
